2019年前11个月20个豪华品牌经销商零售销量282.5万辆,同比增长9.4%,全年豪华车销量有望突破300万辆;这是继2018年9月, ,经过15个月,中国豪华车销量达到300万辆。笔者在2018年年度豪华车报告中提及, ,保持7%上下的增长速度,基本符合预期。
2019年乘用车经销商零售市场继续下滑,但是下滑幅度与去年6%的下滑幅度比较有所收窄,前11个月国内乘用车经销商零售销量为1972.2万辆,同比下滑3.1%;2020年乘用车经销商零售市场销量有望企稳;2019年前11个月豪华车市占率为14.3%,与去年同期比较增长1.6个点;2020年豪华车市场通过挤占中高级乘用车市场,市占率将继续保持增长,预计豪华车全年销量有望新增25万辆以上,保持8%左右的增长速度。
明年全国开始实施国六标准,平行进口车暂没有应对办法;奔驰、宝马今年平行进口车数量相差不大,大约在1.5万辆左右,这部分均以中大型SUV为主,利润较高,这部分缺口将由官方渠道填补,有助于经销商利润的提升。
明年将会出现首个销量接近80万辆的豪华品牌;个别比较激进的二线豪华品牌明年计划增长20%左右,少部分豪华品牌计划增长10%-15%左右,大部分豪华品牌计划增长在10%以下;2020年各家走量新车上市较少,将以存量车型竞争为主,各品牌价格不可避免产生嗜杀;继续看好新生代与大型车细分市场;紧凑级和中型细分市场的市占率有望进一步提升,这两个细分市场集中程度进一步加强。
明年大部分品牌销量目标定在个位数增长,经销商利润相对能够维持今年的水平;2020年奔驰、保时捷、雷克萨斯三家经销商的利润能够保持一定的水准;奥迪经销商利润有望转好;宝马、捷豹路虎经销商利润与今年持平;凯迪拉克、沃尔沃、英菲尼迪需要厂家的持续补贴;玛莎拉蒂与讴歌的市场空间将越来越小。部分品牌计划比较高的增长目标,经销商需要评估风险,避免崩盘。
▼ 汽车消费进入年末旺季 销售总额回升
11月,社会零售总额中汽车类为3465亿,同比下滑1.8%,环比增长7.3%;其中笔者调研的豪华车零售总额为1099.6亿,同比增长3.2%,环比增长17.2%;占比31.7%。11月份汽车销售逐渐进入年末旺季,汽车销售额开始回升,其中豪华车同比、环比均保持正增长,消费升级趋势明显。
▼ 前11个月豪华车销量增长9.8%
1-11月国内乘用车经销商零售累计销量1972.2万辆,同比下滑3.1%;其中11月乘用车经销商零售累计销量190.8万辆,同比增长9.8%;1-11月20个豪华品牌经销商零售销量282.5万辆,同比增长9.4%;其中11月豪华品牌经销商零售销量27.8万辆,同比增长7.9%,环比增长15.9%。年末销售效应凸显,第四季度最后两个月是经销商与车企完成年度销量目标的关键时期,在年度目标、促销、补贴以及折扣的作用下,11月销量快速增长。
▼ 大型SUV与中型SUV细分市场销量增长较快
11月,豪华SUV市场销量增长22%,其中中型豪华车SUV市场同比增长45%,占整体豪华车市场销量的26%;其中GLC、X3、Q5L三款车型销量占比已经超过53%,去年同期占比39%,ABB三家中型SUV放量,一方面使得这一细分市场容量扩充,另一方面也挤压二线豪华品牌中型SUV销量与价格空间。大型豪华车SUV市场本月增长32.8%,其中宝马X7销量攀升至1121辆,带动细分市场增长。
▼ 新车市场成交均价与折扣均有显著回升
11月,豪华车新车市场成交均价为39.8万元,较上月回升0.4万元,其中奥迪、凯迪拉克、英菲尼迪、沃尔沃、捷豹新车市场成交均价低于行业均值;11月宝马、奥迪、奔驰、林肯车市场成交均价较上月回升万元左右,好于其他品牌。
11月,豪华车经销商新车加权折扣均值为15.62%,较上月回升0.4%,已连续两个月回升。11月进入年末销售旺季,各品牌销量都有所提升,价格相对稳定,仅有少数品牌价格下滑,本月沃尔沃品牌折扣下滑0.8%,英菲尼迪品牌折扣下滑0.5%;宝马在新车效应带动下,品牌折扣本月回升1.2个点,与去年同期比较,宝马今年折扣收回了4.4个点,这对厂家与经销商利润提升有很大帮助。
11月,豪华车市场整体库存与10月持平,行业库存均值在1.4左右;其中奔驰、凯迪拉克、保时捷、林肯经销商库存低于行业均值;宝马、奥迪经销商库存在1.5左右,英菲尼迪、林肯库存在1.7上下;豪华车整体库存相对健康。
11月,豪华车市占率为14.6%,较上月上升0.8个点,豪华车市场容量继续扩充;其中奥迪市场占有率为23.9%;宝马品牌市占率为23.8%,市场份额增长1.4个点;奔驰市占率为21.8%。
▼ 十城市豪华车销量增速高于乘用车
11月十城市乘用车销量为48.9万辆,环比增长17.3%,其中豪华车销量为9.9万辆,环比增长18.6%。(笔者选取国内十个区域中心城市对零售市场进行观察,涵盖东区、西部,一线二线、三线市场;10城市:北京、上海、广州、深圳、成都、重庆、郑州、苏州、杭州、西安)
链接 前11个月美国豪华车市场销量持平
前11个月,美国10个豪华车品牌销量为158万辆,与去年销量持平,其中11月销量为17万辆,同比增长7.4%。其中奔驰领跑美国豪华车市场,11月销量为3.6万辆增长9.4%;宝马、奥迪、雷克萨斯、路虎、保时捷、沃尔沃均保持两位数增长。
▼ 奔驰(含Smart)
11月,奔驰(Smart)经销商零售量为6.1万辆,同比增长10.4%;其中奔驰C级零售1.3万辆增长22.4%,GLC为1.3万辆增长73.2%,奔驰S级为0.28万辆增长22%,奔驰A级三厢零售0.58万辆。1-11月奔驰经销商零售67.8万辆,累计增长5.1%,全年销量超过70万没有悬念。另外Smart今年已经正式退出销售,明年销量增长主要以奔驰品牌为主,预计明年奔驰维持高个位数增长。
11月,奔驰品牌新车均价维持在45.6万元左右,较上月价格回升0.98万元;新车折扣较上月回升0.1个点,截止11月份经销商库存深度在1.4左右。
▼ 宝马(含MINI)
11月,宝马(Mini)经销商零售量为6.9万辆,同比增长8.2%;1-11月经销商零售量为67.3万辆,同比增长15%,预计全年销量超过73万辆左右,其中Mini销量预计在3.4万辆左右。11月,宝马5系零售销量超过1.4万辆,3系销量达到1万辆,X3销量达1.1万辆;1-11月,宝马5系累计销量为15.5万辆,成为宝马销量最多的车型;宝马3系换代,今年累计销量在9.9万辆,同比下滑19%,明年宝马3系将成为销量增长主力;X3累计销量为1.1万辆,同比增长300%。预计宝马明年将保持较快增长,领跑豪华车市场。
11月, 宝马品牌新车均价维持在42.5万元左右,较上月上涨1.59万;新车折扣较上月回升1.2个点,折扣率升至今年新低;截止11月份经销商库存深度在1.5左右。
▼ 奥迪
11月,奥迪经销商零售销量为6.6万辆同比增长11.9%,1-11月累计销量为61.9万辆,同比增长4.8%,全年销量预计在69万辆左右。11月, 奥迪品牌新车均价维持在30.4万元左右,较上月上涨1.1万;新车折扣与上月持平,经销商库存深度在1.5左右。
11月,奥迪A4L、A6L、Q5L三款主力车型恢复以往销量水平,其中A6L零售超过1.7万辆,Q5L零售超过1.4万辆同比增长87%,A4L零售1.4万辆与去年同期持平,A3、Q3、Q2L三款新生代车型销量稳定在1.7万辆左右;今年A6L、Q3、Q2L等新品上市及产品换代,对整体销量有所影响,经过一年的调整,这几款销量恢复到以往水平;明年可以看作是奥迪的休养生息年,销售目标低于行业均值,有利于提升产品销售质量,为调整折扣水平打下良好的基础。
▼ 凯迪拉克
11月, 凯迪拉克经销商零售销量为1.5万辆,同比下滑13.4%;凯迪拉克品牌新车均价维持在30.6万,较上月上涨0.5万元;新车折扣为19.2%,较上月回升0.6个点;全年销量预计在21万辆上下,明年在CT4、CT5等新车的带动下,销量有望实现两位数增长。
▼ 雷克萨斯
11月,雷克萨斯经销商零售销量为1.8万辆,同比增长3.8%;品牌新车均价在44.8万元左右,较上月上升0.9万元,连续两个月上涨0.9万元。11月经销商库存为0.4,经销商利润较好,库存压力较小,预计全年达成20万销量。
▼ 捷豹路虎
11月,捷豹路虎官方销量数据显示,在华销量同比增长了29%,已连续5个月实现两位数增长;从经销商零售数据显示,进口车销量保持稳定,揽胜运动增长19.2%,星脉增长22%,发现5增长1%,揽胜月销稳定在1500台左右;国产发现神行调整较好,11月份销售近3000辆,同比增长63%。经过2019年的调整,为2020年的增长打下较好的基础,预计明年捷豹路虎会维持两位数增长。
▼ 沃尔沃
11月,沃尔沃经销商零售销量为1.44万辆,同比增长26.3%;1-11月累计销量13.8万辆,同比增长22.5%,全年销量预计接近16万辆。沃尔沃在售车型虽然少,但XC60、S90、XC90三款主力车型销量均能保持30%以上的增幅,今年上市的S60L明年进入全年销售季,预计月销量在3000辆上下,明年沃尔沃全年销量有望接近20万辆。
11月,沃尔沃新车均价维持在34.3万元左右,新车折扣接近25.5%,折扣较上月下滑0.5个点;截止11月份经销商库存深度在1.7,经销商利润压力较大。
▼ 保时捷
11月,保时捷经销商零售销量为0.8万辆,同比下滑4.3%;1-11月累计销量8.1万辆,同比增长18.6%。预计全年销量在8.6万辆左右,明年销量有望突破9万辆。
▼ 林肯
11月,林肯经销商零售销量为0.43万辆,旗下在售的5款车型均迎来不同幅度的增长。其中,林肯领航员延续强劲势头,环比增长29.4%;MKC创造今年内单月最高销量达1,173台,环比增长19.3%。目前公布的销量数据不包含11月15日正式上市的全新林肯飞行家的1200预售订单,现飞行家新车已经到店,订单正在陆续交付,预计全年在5万辆左右。明年国产紧凑级SUV冒险家进入全年销售季,林肯销量有望保持微增长。

11月,英菲尼迪经销商零售销量为0.4万辆,同比下滑10.8%。

10月,玛莎拉蒂经销商零售销量为596辆,同比下滑40.7%。

11月,讴歌经销商零售销量为1461辆,同比增长49.7%。

1-11月,劳斯莱斯、宾利、法拉利、兰博基尼、阿斯顿马丁累计零售销量为4613辆,同比下滑2.1%。
11月,劳斯莱斯零售销量为116辆,全年累计1048辆,同比增长35.4%。
11月,宾利零售销量为262辆;全年累计1718辆,同比下滑42.6%。
11月,法拉利零售销量为17辆;全年累计640辆,同比增长33.9%。
11月,兰博基尼零售销量为28辆,全年累计685辆,同比增长987%。
11月,阿斯顿马丁零售销量为38辆,全年累计459辆,同比增长1%。

11月,特斯拉销量6003辆;全年累计3.8万辆,同比增长164%。

The dealer retail sales of 20 luxury brand in the first 11 months of 2019 were 2.825 million, a Y increase of 9.4%. The annual sales volume of luxury cars is expected to reach 3 million. After 15 months, China's luxury car sales reached 3 million. In the 2018 annual luxury car report, , maintaining a growth rate of 7%, which is basically in line with expectations.
In 2019, the dealer retail market of passenger car continued to decline but narrowed compared with -6% last year. The dealer retail sales of domestic passenger car in the first 11 months were 19.722 million, a YoY decrease of 3.1%. The dealer retail market sales of passenger car are expected to stabilize in 2020. The luxury car market share was 14.3% in the first 11 months of 2019, an increase of 1.6% compared with the same period last year. The luxury car market will continue to compress the share of mid and high-end passenger car market in 2020. The market share will continue to increase. It is expected that the sales volume of luxury cars will increase by more than 250,000, maintaining a growth rate of about 8%.
Next year, the National VI Emission Standard will be implemented nationwide. And there is no solution for parallel imported cars. The number of parallel imported cars for Mercedes and BMW this year is not much different, about 15,000. This part is mainly medium and large SUVs, which have higher profits. Some gaps will be filled by official sales, which will help dealers' profits to increase.
Next year, there will be the first luxury brand with sales close to 800,000. Some aggressive second-tier luxury brands plan to grow by about 20% next year, a few luxury brands plan to grow by 10% -15%, and most luxury brands plan to grow by 10%. The number of new launched models in each market will be less in 2020, and they will continue to be optimistic about the new generation and large-scale vehicle segments. The market share of compact and mid-sized segments is expected to further increase, and the concentration of these two segments will be further strengthened.
The sales target of most brands is set to grow in single digits next year, and dealers 'profits will be able to maintain the level of this year. In 2020, the profits of Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Lexus will be maintained at a certain level. Audi dealers' profits are expected to improve. BMW, Jaguar Land Rover dealers are expected to be at the same level as this year. Cadillac, Volvo and Infiniti need continuous subsidies from OEMs. Maserati and Acura's market share will become minimal. Some brands plan higher growth targets, and dealers need to assess risks.
▼ Automobile consumption enters peak season at the end of the year
In November, the total retail volume of automobiles was 346.5 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.8% YoY, and an increase of 7.3% MoM. The total retail volume of luxury cars was 109.96 billion yuan, an increase of 3.2% YoY and a increase of 17.2% MoM; accounting for 31.7%. In November, car sales gradually entered the peak season at the end of the year. Among them, luxury cars-maintained growth YoY and MoM.
▼ Luxury car sales up 9.8% in first 11 months
From January to November, the cumulative dealer retail sales of domestic passenger car were 19.722 million, a decrease of 3.1% YoY. The cumulative dealer retail sales of passenger car were 1.098 million, a YoY increase of 9.8%. The dealer retail sales volume of 20 luxury brands from January to November was 2.825 million, an increase of 9.4% YoY. Among them, the retail sales volume of luxury brand dealers was 278,000 in November, a YoY increase of 7.9% and a MoM increase of 15.9%. The last two months of the fourth quarter were a critical period for dealers and car companies to complete their annual sales targets. Under the effect of annual targets, promotions, subsidies and discounts, sales volume increased rapidly in November.
▼ Large SUV and mid-sized SUV segment sales grow faster
In November, the sales volume of the luxury SUV market increased by 22%, of which the mid-sized luxury SUV market increased by 45% YoY, accounting for 26% of the overall luxury market sales; of which the GLC, X3, and Q5L models accounted for more than 53% of sales. Last year In the same period, it accounted for 39%. ABB's three mid-sized SUVs increased their volume, on the one hand, expanding the capacity of this segment, and on the other hand, squeezing second-tier luxury brand mid-sized SUV sales and price space. The large luxury SUV market increased by 32.8% this month. The sales of BMW X7 climbed to 1,121, driving the growth of market segments.
▼New car market average transaction prices and discounts have rebounded significantly
In November, the average transaction price of the new luxury car market was 398,000 yuan, an increase of 4,000 yuan from the previous month. Among them, the average transaction prices of the new car markets of Audi, Cadillac, Infiniti, Volvo and Jaguar were lower than the industry average. In November, the average transaction price of BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Lincoln market rose by about 10,000 yuan from last month, which is better than other brands.
In November, the weighted average discount for luxury car dealers was 15.62%, an increase of 0.4% from the previous month, and it has rebounded for two consecutive months. Entering the peak sales season at the end of November, sales of all brands have increased, prices are relatively stable, and only a few brands have fallen in price. This month, Volvo brand discounts fell by 0.8%, and Infiniti brand discounts fell by 0.5%. Discounts rose 1.2 points this month. Compared with the same period last year, BMW recovered 4.4% this year, which greatly helped OEMs and dealers to increase their profits.
In November, the overall inventory of the luxury car market was the same as in October, and the average inventory of the industry was around 1.4. The inventory of Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Porsche, and Lincoln dealers was lower than the industry average. The inventory of BMW and Audi dealers was around 1.5, and the inventory of Infiniti and Lincoln Above and below 1.7. The overall inventory of luxury cars is relatively healthy.
In November, the luxury car market share was 14.6%, an increase of 0.8% from the previous month. And the luxury car market capacity continued to expand, of which the Audi market share was 23.9%, the BMW brand market share was 23.8%, and the market share increased by 1.4%, Mercedes-Benz market share is 21.8%.
▼ Top Ten city luxury car sales grow faster than passenger cars
In November, the sales volume of passenger cars in the top ten cities was 489,000, an increase of 17.3% MoM, of which the sales volume of luxury cars was 99,000, an increase of 18.6% MoM. In the first 11 months, the sales of 10 luxury car brands in the United States were 1.58 million, which was the same as last year. Among them, the sales in November were 170,000, a YoY increase of 7.4%. Among them, Mercedes-Benz led the US luxury car market, with sales of 36,000 in November increasing by 9.4%; BMW, Audi, Lexus, Land Rover, Porsche, and Volvo all maintained double-digit growth.

In November, the dealer retail volume of Mercedes-Benz (Smart) was 61,000, an increase of 10.4% YoY, of which Mercedes-Benz C-Class retail sales increased by 12.4%, GLC increased by 73.2%, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class increased by 22%, Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan retailed 50,800. From January to November, Mercedes-Benz dealers retailed 678,000, a cumulative increase of 5.1%. There was no doubt that the annual sales exceeding more than 700,000. In addition, Smart has officially withdrawn from sales this year, and the sales growth next year is mainly driven by the Mercedes-Benz brand. It is expected that Mercedes-Benz will maintain a high single-digit growth next year.
In November, the average price of Mercedes-Benz brand new cars remained at around RMB 456,000, a rise of RMB 98,000 from last month. The discount on new cars rose by 0.1% from last month. As of November, the dealer's inventory depth was around 1.4.
▼ BMW(including MINI)
In November, BMW (Mini) dealer retail sales were 69,000, an increase of 8.2% YoY. From January to November, dealer retail sales were 673,000, an increase of 15% YoY. Mini sales are expected to be around 34,000. In November, the retail sales of the BMW 5 Series exceeded 14,000, the sales of the 3 Series reached 10,000, and the sales of the X3 reached 11,000. From January to November, the cumulative sales of the BMW 5 Series reached 155,000, becoming BMW's most sold model. The BMW 3 Series has been upgraded, with cumulative sales of 99,000 this year, down 19% YoY. Next year, the BMW 3 Series will become the main force for sales growth. The cumulative sales of the X3 will be 11,000, a YoY increase of 300%. BMW is expected to maintain rapid growth next year, leading the luxury car market.
In November, the average price of a new BMW brand car remained at about 425,000 yuan, up by 15,900 yuan from last month. The discount on new cars rose 1.2% from last month, and the discount rate rose to a new low this year. As of November, the dealer's inventory depth was around 1.5.
▼ Audi
In November, the dealer retail sales of Audi increased by 11.9% YoY to 66,000. Cumulative sales in January-November were 619,000, an increase of 4.8% YoY. The annual sales are expected to be around 690,000. In November, the average price of Audi brand remained at around RMB 304,000, up 11,000 from last month. The discounts on new cars were the same as last month. And dealership inventory depth was around 1.5.
In November, the three main models of the Audi A4L, A6L, and Q5L resumed their previous sales levels. Among them, A6L retailed more than 17,000, Q5L retailed more than 14,000, an increase of 87% YoY, and A4L retailed 14,000. The sales volume of the three new-generation models are stable at about 17,000. The new products such as A6L, Q3, and Q2L this year and the product replacement have affected the overall sales. After a year of adjustment, these sales have returned to previous level. Next year can be regarded as Audi's rest year. The sales target is lower than the industry average, which is conducive to improving the quality of product sales and laying a good foundation for adjusting the discount level.
▼ Cadillac
In November, the dealer retail sales of Cadillac were 15,000, a YoY decline of 13.4%. The average price of new cars of the Cadillac brand remained at 306,000, an increase of 5,000 from last month. The discount of new cars was 19.2%, a 0.6% increase from last month.Full year sales are expected to be around 210,000. Next year, driven by new models such as CT4 and CT5, sales are expected to achieve double-digit growth.
▼ Lexus
In November, Lexus dealers' retail sales were 18,000, an increase of 3.8% YoY. The average price of brand was around 448,000 yuan, an increase of 9,000 yuan from the previous month. And an increase of 9,000 yuan for two consecutive months. In November, the dealer’s inventory was 0.4. The dealer’s profit was good. And the inventory pressure was relatively small. It is expected to reach 200,000 sales throughout the year.
▼ Jaguar Land Rover
In November, the official sales data of Jaguar Land Rover showed that sales in China increased by 29% Yoy, and have achieved double-digit growth for five consecutive months. Retail sales data from dealers showed that imported car sales remained stable, and Range Rover sport increased by 19.2%. Velar growth by 22%, Discovery 5 growth by 1%, Range Rover monthly sales stabilized at about 1500. Domestically-made Discovery Sport adjusted well, sales of nearly 3,000 in November, a YoY increase of 63%. After adjustment in 2019, a better foundation for 2020 growth is expected, and Jaguar Land Rover is expected to maintain double-digit growth next year.
▼ Volvo
In November, Volvo dealers sold 14,400, an increase of 26.3% YoY. From January to November, the cumulative sales volume was 138,000, an increase of 22.5%, and annual sales are expected to approach 160,000. Although Volvo has few models on sale, the sales of the three main models, XC60, S90, and XC90, can maintain an increase of more than 30%. The S60L, which is launched this year, will enter the annual sales season next year. It is expected that monthly sales will be around 3,000. Next year, Volvo will Sales are expected to be close to 200,000.
In November, the average new car price of Volvo remained at around RMB 343,000, and the discount on new cars was close to 25.5%, which was a drop of 0.5% from the previous month. As of November, the dealer's inventory depth was 1.7, and dealer profit pressure was bigger.
▼ Porsche
In November, the retail sales of Porsche dealers were 8,000, a decrease of 4.3% YoY. The cumulative sales of 81,000 from January to November, an increase of 18.6% YoY. Annual sales are expected to be around 86,000, and sales are expected to exceed 90,000 next year.
▼ Lincoln
In November, the retail sales of Lincoln dealers were 4,300, and the five models sold all ushered in different growth rates. Among them, Lincoln Navigator continued its strong momentum, growing 29.4% MoM. MKC created the highest monthly sales of 1,173 in this year, an increase of 19.3%. The current sales data does not include the 1200 pre-sale order for the new Lincoln Aviator officially launched on November 15th.
