日产汽车于7月24日宣布，已与安德雷蒂FormulaE车队达成多年期协议，自FormulaE第十三赛季起为其提供GEN4动力单元。双方将在整个GEN4时代展开合作，整合技术专长、工程知识与赛事经验。届时，赛道上将有四台搭载日产动力单元的赛车同时参赛。
