8月7日，有消息称雪佛兰将退出中国市场，不再在中国销售新车，但仍会继续生产。通用汽车方面回应称，不会停产雪佛兰车型，上汽通用汽车有限公司旗下的雪佛兰产品线将契合出口市场需求，继续在中国生产，并探索美国以外的海外市场机会。同时，通用汽车表示，现有中国雪佛兰车主仍将获得完善的售后服务保障。雪佛兰品牌由通用汽车公司于1911年创立，2005年由上汽通用引入中国市场。
