谷歌Chrome浏览器近日更新官方帮助文档，明确设备需至少保留约20GB可用磁盘空间，才会开始下载设备端AI模型。该20GB为启动下载的最低空间门槛，并非模型本身大小。用户可在Chrome“设置>系统”中关闭设备端AI功能。微软Edge浏览器同步提高本地AI模型存储要求，规定存放Edge用户配置文件的磁盘卷须至少留出20GB可用空间，并新增GPU显存至少5.5GB的要求。其他条件包括操作系统为Windows10、Windows11或macOS13.3及以上版本，且需使用不限流量或非按流量计费的网络连接。当可用空间降至10GB以下时，Edge将自动删除本地AI模型以释放空间。
