通用汽车南美总裁ThomasOwsianski表示，通用汽车今年1-8月巴西产量同比增长20%，并预计继续扩大当地市场份额，今年在巴西的汽车销量预计达到320万辆。Owsianski表示，通用汽车的市场份额较去年提升，公司有能力在各个细分市场展开竞争。通用汽车还考虑通过其与上汽集团和广西汽车集团的合资企业，在巴西推出一款小型电动车。
