9月24日，欧洲汽车制造商协会（ACEA）公布数据显示，2026年8月，欧盟、欧洲自由贸易联盟（EFTA）及英国新车注册量为83.26万辆，同比增长5.3%，2025年同期为79.11万辆。2026年前8个月，该地区新车注册量累计达919.25万辆，同比增长5.8%。
