特斯拉公布了Roadster跑车的性能配置信息。该车型分为性能版（Performance）和火箭版（Rocket）。性能版可容纳2人乘坐，配备主动空气动力学系统与多模式吸力系统。火箭版可容纳1人乘坐，配备多模式吸力系统及周边安装的冷气推进器，支持前后向上加速以及横向旋转运动。两款车型的续航里程大于300英里，火箭版最高时速可达大于230英里/小时。
